Yoga Studio

The design brief

Having previously taught yoga in village halls, our client required a dedicated, peaceful space where she could teach her ever-growing yoga classes. The ease of our installation process benefited our client as she wanted her garden yoga studio to be up and running as soon as possible.  Access to the studio was also an important factor and hence location was key to its success.

What we installed

The Garden House Company installed a 7.5m x 4m studio with a 3m x 1.5m skylight for the client to run her yoga business from a garden yoga studio. With a contemporary edge to the garden studio in the form of the skylight

The Studio building was delivered under a planning application with an extended height of 4m to allow her students to stretch up into the overhead space.

The building features 3.6m bi-fold doors to the front to make the most of the stunning garden setting. These large doors let natural light in and provide the opportunity to open them during the Summer, to become one with nature and create even more space to practice. The client also opted for underfloor heating, remotely controlled, in the garden yoga studio for the colder winter mornings to have warmth underfoot.

Our client wished for a calm peaceful studio that was easily accessible by clients, gave a feeling of being at one with nature and was useable for all seasons.
